Hemel Hempstead 2012

This was a very interesting job for us, our customer loves their pond and have gone to great extents to make it as beautiful as possible but they also have grandchildren who visit regularly and live near a waterway that is home to a few herons so they regularly get visited by the birds. They needed a solution that would keep their grandchildren safe and also keep the herons from eating their fish so they contacted us for a solution. The pond was a great challenge to us because the back edge is all waterfall and the rocks are not strong enough to support much weight so the cover had to be very strong along that edge. They also needed large access panels built into the cover so they can maintain the pond without removing the heavy cover. We very much enjoyed making this cover because of the flowing shape and architectural challenge. Our customer also commissioned a 3d dragonfly which sits next to the cover. They were very pleased with the finished product and you can read there testimonial named Pat and Chris Angell
